Here For You

With you every step of the way, I will guide and support you to shape a meaningful farewell for your loved one, whether it's for a Civil Funeral, Memorial Service or the Scattering, Burying and Interring of Ashes.

Listening to you carefully, together we'll create a ceremony that reflects the unique essence  of your loved one. Always respecting your wishes and beliefs, it will express how you wish to remember them.

My Approach

After an introductory phone call and chat, we'll meet together at a time and place convenient to you, along with anyone else you'd like to join us.

We'll talk about your loved one, their life and their legacy, and discuss any thoughts you may have about the farewell ceremony.

Approachable and easy to talk with, I know that this can sometimes feel overwhelming. However, every aspect of the ceremony is entirely your choice so I promise to guide and support you as much - or as little - as you need.

Sharing everything with you throughout, you'll always have the final say at this difficult time.

Civil Funerals - Burials & Cremations

A Civil Funeral is shaped entirely around the wishes, beliefs and values of you and your loved one, rather than the beliefs or ideology of the person conducting the funeral. Every Civil Funeral is as unique and exceptional as the person who it commerorates.

My role as your Civil Funeral Celebrant is to help you set the tone that's right for you, guided by your choices, be it for music, poems, readings and words of farewell or by suggesting options.

I will write and deliver as much or as little of the funeral as you wish, including a tribute or eulogy to your loved one. I can assemble contributions from family and friends and support everyone involved at the funeral, including other speakers.

In short, I'd like you to be able to focus on what you need from the funeral without worrying about how everything will come together.

Memorial Services & Ceremonies

A Memorial Service is a ceremony or event held to honour and remember your loved one in the weeks or months following their funeral.

They're often organised following a direct cremation or where the number of people attending and contributing at their funeral was limited.

Typically celebrating their life, their influence and their achievements, it provides an opportunity for their family, friends and wider circle to come together to share their love, memories and stories, whilst also paying their respects.

Varying in format and style, I'll work with you to personalise a Memorial Service that reflects your individual wishes and preferences. Ultimately, I'd like to provide you with a meaningful way to remember and celebrate the life and legacy of your loved one.

Scattering, Burying & Interring of Ashes

A ceremony to scatter, bury or inter the ashes of your loved one can be very comforting. It often brings close family and friends together for a very special time for this last act of farewell.

Held almost anywhere, I will work with you to create a meaningful and respectful experience, tailored to your unique needs and the wishes of your loved one.

Whether you choose to scatter the ashes in a serene natural setting, bury them in a family plot, or inter them in a columbarium, I work closely with you to ensure that the process is both dignified and reflective of your loved one's life and legacy.

If you wish, I can write a tribute to celebrate the life and significance of your loved one and support you to share stories, memories, and sentiments during the service if you so chose.

It reassured us from the moment we met you.”
